Two Important Tips to Boost Your Immune System

An Important Tip to Boost Your Immune System

February is the month when viruses are a common health issue. Lwt’s talk about two secrets to fighting viruses to keep you healthy.

Calcium

The first secret is calcium. One reason many people get sick is low calcium levels. Other symptoms of low calcium are:

  • Dental cavities
  • Bones start to deteriorate
  • Osteoporosis
  • Canker Sores
  • Herpes
  • Infections
  • Insomnia
  • Muscle cramping
  • Decreased blood clotting
  • Coughing
  • Sometimes itchy skin and/ot hives

Did you know: Calcium can drop a fever during infection in some cases.

What to Know About Calcium Supplements

Most calcium supplements are not absorbable. If you take a calcium pill that does not absorb well or you take it incorrectly, you will not absorb it, and you could be calcifying your body. Our office offers supplements that are inexpensive and also absorbable.

You need to take calcium on an empty stomach. Take either 20 minutes before or two hours after a meal.

You need to take a slightly acidic calcium or something acidic with the calcium, like apple cider vinegar. If you’re over 50, stomach acid starts to decline in the stomach, so this becomes an important factor in calcium absorption.

Causes of Calcium Deficiencies

Excess Vitamin D. Vitamin D will pull calcium from the skin and bones into the blood. You do not want to overdose on Vitamin D and deplete your body of calcium – especially if you are a postmenopausal woman. Only take Vitamin D as directed.

EMF. This is what is produced by your cell phones, router, WiFi, smart meters, tables, 3G– 5G. Approximately 6,000 research projects state that EMFs coming from these devices cause an abnormal amount of calcium to absorb into cells. This damages the cell and also causes a deficiency in the body. Alsol, high doses of EMF can cause a lack of blood clotting due to low calcium levels in the blood.

In the first weeks of February, many of the patients that I checked were coming up with calcium deficiency. Calcium can be taken when sick and also as a preventative.

For herpes and cold sores, another supplement can be used with calcium. Having a herpes outbreak will let you know that you have low calcium in your tissues.

Arginine

The second secret is arginine. It’s an amino acid that increases viral replication. This is known among people with herpes because eating foods high in arginine can cause a herpes outbreak and a more prolonged outbreak.

The amino acid lysine works against the amino-acid arginine. That is why people with herpes outbreaks take lysine. You can take lysine supplements. I tell herpes patients to avoid nuts because they are high in arginine. So when it comes to cold season, avoid nuts if you feel sick, when you’re around sick people, and during flu season.
