Low Estrogen Symptoms from an Environmental Chemical

Low Estrogen Symptoms from an Environmental Chemical
This last year has been interesting as we see chemicals in our environment in very high amounts. The latest, greatest chemical is an estrogen replacement called Atrazine. It is a popular weed killer.

Atrazine is a surface water and groundwater contaminant that can enter waterways in agricultural runoff from row crops. It is estrogenic and may cause the body to decrease its production of estrogen.

This may lead to a host of low estrogen symptoms such as:

  • Dryness
  • Hot flashes/night sweats
  • Brain fog
  • Aging skin
  • “low execution” – you don’t get much done
  • Fatigue
  • Irregular Cycles

It may cause a dramatic shift in lower estrogen in a short amount of time. Detoxing the chemical out will in many cases cause the estrogen to rise again.

I am not sure the affects on men – perhaps more housecleaning. We can only hope.

Filter Water

I am telling people to filter or double filter your water at this time or use Fiji water for drinking and cooking.

Rising Chemicals in the Environment

What is happening is a rise in a specific chemical for a couple of months and then it dissipates. This is again a new occurrence that I am seeing in the last year.

We offer a 15-minute free consultation and outdoor allergy sensitivity test in our office. To make an appointment, call (707) 527-7710 or click here to make an appointment on-line.
